Georgia Facilities: Our Main Lab
New Laboratory Facilites Coming in 2009!
- We have recently acquired a new piece of property consisting of 50 acres of fields, woods, and a 1 acre pond. New labs and facilities will be constructed on this property. We hope to move in the early part of 2009!
- Our new lab is designed to help us expand our Agricultural support with more on-site testing with animal pests and crop pests. We will be rearing donkeys, chickens, and goats as well as other animals for pest testing. We will also be rearing a range of plants for our plant pest rearing program as well as our phyto-toxicity testing program.
- Our new facility has a self-sufficient GLP wing which has its own rearing lab, mixing lab, and chemical storage area.
Primary Laboratory
-
Our large primary facility consists of our Main lab, 2 rearing rooms, 2 release rooms, pesticide storage, chemical mixing room, conference room, and various offices.
2 Greenhouses
2 Release Buildings
Maintenance Shop and Work Areas
-
We design and build numerous test arenas from the very small to the very large. Our full time maintenance department keeps us in treatment panels, rearing equipment, test arenas, and other necessities for quick turn around on our tests.
Mouse Building
- Designed to run a range of behavior tests on stations and repellents as well as EPA Choice Bait protocols with toxic baits.
24 Acres
- We use the surrounding property for termite bait stations and matrix tests, ant testing, fire ant testing, mosquito trap tests, and a host of other on-going uses.
