There is little question that Snell Sci specializes in testing exempt and botanical pesticides. We take the all-natural products seriously and do not try to treat them simply as any other pesticides. We recognize that they do not perform in the same ways as synthetic pesticides and we have developed special testing methods to account for such differences.

When testing essential oils, we are careful to use mesh covers on our residual panel tests, recognizing that the fumes of many essential oils will kill or impact the results and must be handled accordingly.

We recognize that one of the primary values (or difficulties) in essential oil products can be the levels of repellency. We have numerous protocols to help test repellent properties of such products and account for this in the final evaluations for traditional bioassays.
