Snell Sci has developed and proven one of the most reliable methods possible for testing area-wide repellent such as lanterns, candles, coils, tiki fuels, granulars, and yard sprays.

Our unique method incorporates large indoor cages inside large buildings in which a human is the attractant to show the degree of repellency when the mosquitoes are challenged with strong attraction. Since it uses laboratory conditions, the method is far more sensitive and reliable than outdoor methods using human targets with a wide range of variables and changes.

We also offer screening methods for area-wide repellent which can be used as preliminary screening of active ingredients and formulations. We have developed a variety of methods conducted in small cages, wind tunnels, olfactometers, and repel-o-meters to help you develop a new product from scratch.
